Rumour: 'Spyro The Dragon: Treasure Trilogy' Announcement Today, Leak Suggests
Back in February we reported that a Spyro The Dragon Trilogy Remaster will be coming to PlayStation 4 this September, with an announcement to come in March according to sources close to Kotaku. Today might possibly be the day if a Reddit post from an allegedly credible insider is to be believed.
Reddit user r/B4DASS posted a thread stating "Spyro The Dragon: Treasure Trilogy to be announced tomorrow at 1PM PST", with the body of the post reading "Info from inside sources at Activision". While leaks and rumours from claimed 'industry insiders' should always be taken with a grain of salt, B4DASS' track record suggests this is very much the real deal, as he had also correctly leaked the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 reveal.
After the huge success of the Crash Bandicoot: N'Sane Trilogy last year, it would only be logical for Activision to follow up the bandicoot's closest purple buddy. Are you hoping to see Activision announce Spyro The Dragon: Treasure Trilogy today? If (or when) they do, we will be sure to keep you updated!
