A new update for Gran Turismo Sport has been revealed, adding with it a new vehicle, new GT League events and a new track layout, as well as various other features, improvements and bug fixes.

This Version 1.18 patch weighs in at 1.83GBs and is available now to download, so lets run through what it adds:

New Car: Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept

Recently unveiled at this years' Geneva Motor Show, the Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept '18 has now been added to Gran Turismo Sport. It will be available in GR.3 spec, however in-game credit pricing was not revealed.

Three New GT League Events

Three new events have been added to Gran Turismo Sport's single-player campaign mode GT League; Compétition de France (Beginner League),  Gr. B Rallycross (Amateur League) and Vision Gran Turismo Trophy + (Professional League).

The Compétition de France league will restrict players to events in French only cars. The Gr. B Rallycross league will restrict players to events in GR. B class cars only. Finally, the Vision Gran Turismo Trophy + league will restrict players to events in specified Vision Gran Turismo cars only.

New Track Layout - Dragon Trail

A new layout has been added for the popular 'Dragon Trail' track - Gardens. This is another area to the Dragon Trail, which gets its name from the green olive fields looking down on the course.

The Gardens layout is more technical in nature compared to the Seaside version, with the pit stop facility having more of a local feel to it. The 4.3km track features tricky combined corners and 90 degree turns, and will also be available in the reverse layout 'Gardens II'.

New Features - Scapes, Brand Central, Circuit Experience

A new Hawaii Islands section has been added to the 'Featured' section of Scapes. When taking photos in brand-related Spots, you can now choose cars from both the showroom and the garage (limited to cars of that brand). BMW-related Spots have now also been added. Lastly, Tsukuba Circuit which was added into Gran Turismo Sport last month, has been added to the 'Circuit Experience'.
