Forza Motorsport 4, the critically-acclaimed track racer from last generation, will soon be available to play on Xbox One via Backwards Compatibility, if a new database listing is to be believed.

The news comes from Xbox DVR, a third-party website which specializes in accessing Xbox One DVR content such as game clips and screenshots from the internet, which recently updated their website to include Forza Motorsport 4 as a game now compatible with Xbox One’s DVR features.

Xbox DVR and other third-party achievement/trophy websites (True Achievements/PSNProfiles) have access to Microsoft and Sony’s databases to pull data from for their websites, meaning Forza Motorsport 4 has recently been made Xbox One compatible internally and an official release may be right around the corner.

Forza Motorsport 4 has been a highly requested game to be made backwards compatible ever since the feature was first introduced, with the original Forza Horizon being the only Xbox 360 generation Forza title to currently be available on Xbox One and with added enhancements for Xbox One X.

No official news has been made by Microsoft or Turn 10 Studios just yet, however it shouldn’t be too far off if the title is already appearing in their database.
