Tom Clancy's The Division 2 Announced, More Details at E3 2018
The Division has been another strange success story for Ubisoft, with it originally releasing to a mixed reception yet two years later receiving new and free content drawing players back, however it seems the studio are ready to take things with The Division to the next level.
Announced today via the Ubisoft website, Tom Clancy's: The Division 2 is in development, with more news to come at E3 2018.This won't mean the end for support on The Division however, with Global Events, Xbox One X enhancements and more still planned throughout The Division's Year Two Anniversary.
In addition, a new type of Achievement called "Shields" are coming to The Division, which will unlock you special rewards in The Division 2 - similar to how you can earn cars for The Crew 2 by completing specific tasks in The Crew
Personally I really liked the concept for the original The Division however with very bullet-sponge enemies, lack of PvP modes and repetitve co-op missions, the game died too quickly for me. While a load of this has been addressed via content updates, I'm still extremely excited to see how The Division 2 improves upon the original. Perhaps a Battle Royale twist could even be implemented in the sequels Dark Zone area.
The Division 2 will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with more details to be announced at E3 2018. Are you excited for The Division 2? Heres hoping this releases this year and is Ubisoft's big end of year game!
